CHANDIGARH:The Punjab Government has invited applications for Departmental Examination of Assistant Commissioners, Extra Assistant Commissioners/I.P.S officers, Tehsildars/Revenue Officials and other departments to be held from April 18 to April 22, 2022.

CHANDIGARH: In recognition of ‘mSeva’ initiative of Punjab Municipal Infrastructure Development Company (PMIDC), the Government of India has conferred Gold award to the Punjab government under the Award Scheme of National Awards for e-Governance 2020-21 in the Category-I – Excellence in Government Process Re-engineering for Digital Transformation.

CHANDIGARH: In order to attract new investment and provide succour to the existing industry in the state, the Punjab Government has offered power tariff subsidy amounting to Rs 6,760 crore and electricity duty exemption worth Rs 156 crore to the industry in the past four years.

CHANDIGARH: Punjab Government led by Chief Minister Mr. Charanjit Singh Channi on Sunday approved Wheat Seed Subsidy Policy-2021-22 of the Agriculture Department to provide certified wheat seed at 50 per cent subsidy to farmers limited to Rs. 2,000/- per farmers in the Rabi season.

CHANDIGARH:The Punjab Government is all set to expedite and make alternate arrangements for providing jobs to the Youth of the state under the Ghar Gahr Rozgar Yojna flagship scheme despite of COVID-19 pandemic. The Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has directed the department to take all necessary steps to provide counselling and jobs to the Youth of the state in the private sector across the globe.

The Punjab Government has constituted 11-member Board under the chairmanship of Cooperation Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa to deal with the problems of Markfed/Cooperative Marketing Societies across the state.

CHANDIGARH:Board consists of experts from Punjabi, Hindi and Sanskrit languages as well as eminent personalities of literature and various other arts
The Punjab Government today constituted a new State Advisory Board for the selection of Punjabi Sahitya Ratna and Shiromani Awards and formation of departmental schemes. The proposal submitted by the Department of Higher Education and Languages was approved by the Chief Minister yesterday.
